I graduated from Saint Edward's University with a degree in English Writing and Rhetoric. I started my teaching career at Midland ISD where I taught freshman English for two years. Before becoming a teacher, I was a journalist and worked as the editor of the Matagorda Advocate, the sister paper to The Victoria Advocate.
